After nearly a year and a half of trying to find a contractor that gave us confidence and was willing to work within our budget, we are delayed indefinitely because of our contractor dropping out of the project 24 hours before we were set to begin demolition.
The night before we got this news, Rachel and I decided to utilize one of the back bedrooms as a kitchen/living room/office in order to make the remodel a little less miserable. This is our tiny house inside of our regular house. We’re going to keep it for now and hope that we can find a new contractor that is able to get started sooner than the 6 months we’ve been told it’ll take until another frees up. 🤞🏼
